Team Fundraising Walk for Brighton Food Bank

Fatto a Mano Pizza, UnBarred Brewery and Backwood Café teamed up to raise money for Brighton Food Bank. A group of ten of us walked up Snowdon for a cause that is well worth supporting. As people who work in hospitality we know the value of food and of community. This walk was something we have been talking about for a while – and finally we found the time to get round to it… a little late in the year, so we were very lucky to have some amazing weather.

We all made it up the mountain and back down again, it was a great team building exercise, bringing us all together as well as raising money.

We will continue building relationships with Brighton charities doing amazing work in our local communities. The Brighton Food Bank helps families and individuals going through times of crisis, primarily through giving of food, but also by supporting clients emotionally, physically, and spiritually, as well as signposting them to other agencies across the city for expert advice. Each client is given an appointment time during which they have are able to receive valuable support. Unfortunately the need for food banks is increasing so we want to help make sure that they can continue to provide support to those who need it most.

Our sponsorship page is still open and any sponsorship you can give us is really most appreciated; help us hit our target of £4000. Thank you!

Free Pizza for a Year – The Winners!

Over the summer we gave our customers the chance to win a free Fatto a Mano pizza everyday for a whole year! We asked you to post your videos and photos telling us about your pizza love… some of our friends from around Brighton & Hove shared theirs too, search #fattoamanopizzaeveryday on Instagram to see them. We had a the fun task of choosing our favourite entry, and it was definitely the kids who did the best job!
