2023 has been an exciting year for us already! January saw the finale of our Pizzaiolo competition, with three amazing finalists from the first round in December; Luca Boriello, Antonio Rizzo and Francesco Troiano. The contestants brought fresh and interesting ideas to the table for the judges to try.
Huge thanks to Fran Villani, CJ Chambers, and Xavier Buendia for joining us on the judging panel! And of course to our Ida for hosting, and our Head of Pizza, Antonio Braccio for bringing this all together.
And congratulations to Antonio Rizzo, our winner with a great pizza, full of complex flavours and textures. Antonio won a trip Girona, for sinner at one of the best 3 Michelin Stars Restaurant in Spain… El Celler de Can Roca.
This amazing place is run by three brothers and was featured on the Netflix series, Chef’s Table.
