La Dolce Vita!

Cacio e Pepe is as famous in Roman food culture as Carbonara. With Pecorino Romano and black pepper creating our cacio e pepe sauce, we’ve added crispy guanciale (pork cheek). We’re big fans of figs & on pizza it’s a thing! Our Roman pizza special is topped with spiced fig.

La Dolce Vita is our tribute to 1960s Italy celebrating “the good life”. The movie with the same name is set in Rome, with scenes around the city including the Trevi fountain. Perfect for Summer vibes, salute!

Flavours of Florence for May

Renowned for art and culture since the Renaissance over 500 years ago, Florence is at the heart of the Tuscany region. Florentine food culture celebrates the simplicity of produce, including meats and cheeses. Our pizza special is topped with traditional Tuscan fennel salame, and Pecorino Toscano.

Florence is also where the famous Negroni was born, invented at Caffe Giacosa for Camillo Negroni. Our smoky twist is based on the Toscanello cigar.

Pizza inspired by the flavours of the city of Parma

Located in the Emilia-Romagna region, the city of Parma is home to two of Italy’s most famous products, recognised across the world… Parma ham and Parmesan cheese.

Our pizza special for April celebrates dry-cured Parma ham (Prosciutto Crudo di Parma), paired  with creamed Parmesan (Parmigiano Reggiano) made by us in our kitchens. Together with roasted asparagus, we’ve topped our special with grated Parmesan and a touch of sweetness from Modena’s balsamic vinegar.

Our light sparkling red wine is served chilled, made from the Lambrusco grape in Emilia-Romagna. Crisp and refreshing, it matches perfectly with the white pizza, parmesan and Parma ham.

For our specials this year we are taking our inspiration from the traditional ingredients of our favourite Italian cities and regions, from Venice to Palermo and Cagliari to Bari!

Pesto from Genoa

Pesto is famous across the world, originating in the coastal city of Genoa. Our March pizza special combines our own classic basil pesto sauce with roasted potatoes, pork sausage and creamed Stracchino cheese.

And we’re celebrating the Italian sparkling bitter aperitif, Crodino, which is made with herbs & botanical extracts. Our Aperitivo Special combines Martini Bianco, Crodino and a slice of orange for a quintessentially Italian cocktail.

Milano Pizza & Aperitivo

Neapolitan pizza from Naples, inspired by Milan

Our new Pizza special is here. It’s the Milano… featuring saffron, Salame Milano, and butternut squash (zucca)

And for Feb, we’re also featuring a second Negroni, the Sbagliato – one’s just not enough when it comes to Negroni! Saffron & Gorgonzola cream, together with salami from Milan, works perfectly with fried butternut squash for our Feb special pizza

Saffron has an important heritage in the cooking of Lombardy, featuring on menus regionally for over 400 years, including Risotto alla Milanese

Our Milan theme continues with Negroni Sbagliato, our aperitivo special. Created at Bar Basso in Milano, legend has it that the barman accidentally added prosseco to the classic recipe instead of gin, creating a refreshing ‘mistaken Negroni’

Salute!
